If you’re searching for a classic strain, look no further than Skunk #1. Born in the ‘70s (thanks to Sam the Skunkman), the strain itself has won several awards — and its makeup is so good, it’s also spawned numerous crossbreeds that we know and love today.
Skunk #1 is derived from Afghani, Acapulco Gold, and Colombian Gold. It grows vigorously both indoors and outdoors, flowering in about eight to nine weeks indoors, mid-October outdoors. The plants can grow up to four feet indoors, but can grow to twelve or more outside yielding four to five lbs. per plant.
Can be grown by both novices and experts alike, so don’t be afraid, beginners! If you need another reason to grow indoors, Skunk #1 is aptly named for its, eh… “pungent” scent, making it easy to sniff out when grown in the open.
Used for: Stress, chronic pain, migraines, depression
