Harvest: Indoor and Outdoor (preferred due to size)
According to legend, in the 1970s, two California brothers bred Mexican and Thai sativas with Afghani indica to create Trainwreck. The name (supposedly) was inspired by an actual trainwreck that occurred near the grow site which caused the brothers to harvest early to avoid detection!
This tasty and unique varietal strikes a popular chord for both recreational and medical users offering an intense high that is clear-headed and euphoric, as well as its muscle-tension-relieving medicinal effects.
Trainwreck can be grown both indoors and outdoors, however outdoors is preferable to accommodate the plants’ sativa-influenced height and burliness (Afghani influenced). Proper growing techniques will bring out Trainwreck’s most notable characteristics– an unmistakably pungent smell and a lemon-pine-spice taste (Trainwreck’s smell and taste are so distinct that once you’ve experienced them, they’ll be easily recognizable when you encounter other wreck hybrids)
Indoor 8 to 10 weeks, and Outdoors mid-October to early November.
